About Dr. Gale
Dr. Shell Gale graduated from Colorado State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences near the top of her class in 1993. After working as an associate veterinarian, she and her husband Rocco started their own human-animal bond centered practice in Las Vegas, Nevada, in 1994. The mobile hospital was noted for high quality veterinary medicine and surgery. Dr. Gale has focused on canine and feline internal medicine and oncology through most of her career to date.
Dr. Gale relocated back home to New York in 2005. In an evolving role in veterinary medicine, Dr. Gale now aims to increase pet parents' understanding of the importance of preventive care and access to primary veterinary medical services. These are essential for increasing quality of life and longevity for our beloved companion animals.
Some of Dr. Gale’s honors include membership in the Veterinary Honor Society of Phi Zeta and membership in the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. Other memberships include: The National Veterinary Accreditation Program (NVAP); accredited D.V.M., American Veterinary Medical Association, 30 years, American Association of Feline Practitioners.
